April’s Resource Roundup is highlighting Homeownership Resources in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Find resources to support you as you work towards your homeownership goals. Everything from learning about the homebuying process to downpayment assistance programs! Read on to learn more.

National Resources

Single Family Housing Direct Home Loans – This program assists low- and very-low-income applicants obtain decent, safe, and sanitary housing in eligible rural areas by providing payment assistance to increase an applicant’s repayment ability. Payment assistance is a type of subsidy that reduces the mortgage payment for a short time. The amount of assistance is determined by the adjusted family income.

Idaho Homeownership Resources

Idaho Housing and Finance Association – The Idaho Housing and Finance Association improves lives and strengthens Idaho communities by expanding housing opportunities, building self-sufficiency, and fostering economic development.

Oregon Homeownership Resources

Oregon Housing and Community Services – Oregon Housing and Community Services is Oregon’s housing finance agency, providing financial and program support to create and preserve opportunities for quality, affordable housing for Oregonians of lower and moderate income.

Washington Homeownership Resources

Washington Homeownership Resource Center – The Washington Homeownership Resource Center works to increase and preserve homeownership in Washington state by educating and empowering current and future homeowners.

Washington State Housing Finance Commission – The Washington State Housing Finance Commission works to provide equitable access to capital through strong partnerships and innovative financing to create and sustain affordable rental housing, homeownership, and community spaces across Washington State.
