Loan closets provide free and low-cost medical equipment on a long-term loan basis. Equipment provided includes manual and electric wheelchairs, scooters, lifts, walkers, canes, hospital beds, bathroom equipment, and more.

Helpline House

Located in Bainbridge Island, Helpline House offers crutches, walkers, toilet and bath equipment, wheelchairs and seated walkers. A deposit is required for some items.

Multiple Sclerosis Helping Hands – Donor Closet

This nonprofit organization provides affordable medical and mobility equipment to individuals with MS, with locations in Edmonds, Spokane, and Tacoma.

Bridge Ministries

Bridge Ministries provides wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, bath benches, and other equipment at little or no cost to low-income individuals with disabilities.

Medical Equipment Bank

The Medical Equipment Bank in Lacey provides medical equipment and/or supplies to those who cannot afford to purchase their own. Borrowers return equipment when finished.

A Caring Closet

A Caring Closet is a Clark County nonprofit that provides gently used Durable Medical Equipment to those in need at no cost. They are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm.

ACCESS loans medical equipment at no cost to residents with short-term needs. There are no eligibility requirements and equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Access Technologies, Inc. (ATI) Device Loan Library

Access Technologies, Inc. operates a device loan library with over 2,000 items that you may trial for 30 days. Items can be mailed across Oregon. The borrower is responsible for a one-time $9 fee, which covers all shipping expenses.

Clearview Disability Resource Center Medical Loan Closet

Clearview Disability Resource Center offers a community-based loan closet for individuals who need temporary use of medical equipment. It is available at no cost to anyone in need.
