For the past 12 years, J has earned informal freelance income as a writer. They decided to formalize their freelance work and reached out to Northwest Access Fund for support. They worked closely with the business coach at Northwest Access Fund to build a business plan and marketing strategy. They received a $3,500 loan from NWAF to help purchase marketing collateral and new technology. J formally launched their newly formed LLC in late May.
