Our Impact

Northwest Access Fund (NWAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission of providing funding for people with disabilities in Washington and Oregon to purchase assistive technology and achieve greater independence. Assistive technologies (AT) — such as hearing aids, mobility devices, and home modifications — make a huge difference in people’s day-to-day lives, but they are often not covered by insurance, grants, or government programs. We were founded in order to provide an Alternative Financing Program for people with disabilities and seniors to have a low-cost way of acquiring the technology they need to participate and thrive within our communities.
